It's slow going, but I'm trying to create this blog of the Village of Big Springs in memory of my late wife. She loved this town and all of the friendly people she found in it, so it is the least that I can do for the town she loved so much.

The first thing I'll be working on is the small guided tour of the town and businesses here which she took the time to create back in March of 2008 for family and friends. Some businesses or their hours have changed and one or two others have closed up shop completely, so I'll eventually be replacing what she did with a newer up-to-date and more detailed version.

I'd like to post village notices here so everyone in town can see what's going on from month to month. I'll need help from everyone keeping that updated, though. I'll be willing to keep track of everything from town meetings, birthdays, garage sales to weddings. There's no limit to what others in town might be interested in reading about here.
